Firstly just a plea to see if anyone has any White gloss paint they could give to the club for the working day this Saturday. Before we use the clubs funds we’d just like to see if anyone has a stockpile? We’ll also need dust sheets and all the paint brushes you can spare. If you have any of these please contact Tonka on 07948 993790.

Why It Is Important To Contribute To The Club?
When you are a part of the club, it is really important to contribute in any way possible. This is how solidarity works and how clubs function. Most of the time, the club does not need any special favors from their members, but when the opportunity arises for you to assist and contribute to the club, it is important that you give your contribution.
The solidarity between members is what builds the team spirit and gives the foundations to the club. Whether it is something completely irrelevant and seemingly unimportant, or something that requires a lot of work on your behalf, contributing will establish your position in the club membership, give you a sense of purpose and really make a strong bond with the club and the other members.
How Can You Contribute?
There are many ways in which you can contribute to the cricket club. One of the main things is the maintenance of the club property, as well as the maintenance of the court for the game. There are certainly many ways to contribute that do not require nothing more than some time that you would invest and your good will to help.
What you get in return cannot be measured with anything else – and it is the sense of contribution and belonging to the club.
